Validation of achromatic meta-optics for RGB applications

The unprecedented control of light afforded by meta-optics also broadens the parameter space required by optical testing.

The Capasso Group – a research team at the Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Harvard University – has developed broadband achromatic RGB metalenses and has used a SuperK white light fiber-coupled laser to validate the performance.

Our SuperK lasers are ideal for the characterization of advanced optical components, metamaterials, plasmonics, etc., due to their high brightness, high spatial resolution, and flat and broad spectrum.
