This Plug & Play add-on module is an ultra-low noise current source to drive the ORIGAMI LP laser with the lowest possible timing jitter.

It can drive the laser pulse train to show a timing jitter of only 400 as over a long time [1 Hz – 1 MHz] and even down to 70 as during a shorter time [1 kHz – 1 MHz]. It has been developed for high-end synchronization applications.

Compact and simple synchronization module

This Plug & Play add-on module allows the synchronization of pulsed laser trains to an external reference signal. It guarantees a highly reliable locking of the laser repetition rate to a user-supplied RF reference source.

It is one of the world’s most compact synchronization add-on modules (160 mm x 100 mm footprint) and is designed for 24/7 operation.

No PC or other control or monitor device is necessary to operate this module. The absence of any stepper motor solution for coarse frequency adjustment enabled by the low drift ORIGAMI laser ensures noise-free adjustment of the coarse frequency and drives down cost, volume, and system complexity.

ORIGAMI ultra low-noise synchronization module

Synchronization module for femtosecond-precision laser applications

This Plug & Play add-on module allows you to synchronize ultra-short laser pulse trains with femtosecond precision. It guarantees reliable locking of the laser’s repetition rate over a long time scale and has been built to satisfy high-precision synchronization applications. 

No PC or other control or monitor device is necessary to operate this module.

CEP ready

Electronic architecture allowing carrier phase control

The CEP READY system consists of advanced laser and electronic architecture which allows controlling the Carrier Envelope Phase (CEP) of the lasers in addition to the pulse repetition rate. 

This option, allowing to modulate both the repetition rate and the CEP independently, enables simple frequency combs based on the low noise ORIGAMI femtosecond laser. The excellent signal-to-noise ratio of the free-running CEO beat allows for all high-precision applications.
