Office, production facility, and applications laboratory in one
The office will serve as the headquarters for all our U.S.-based sales. It will also accommodate a state-of-the-art single-frequency fiber laser production as well as a brand-new Application and Service laboratory.
With these capabilities, we will greatly increase our support of multiple markets in the US and Canada such as scientific and academic, medical and life sciences, industrial and manufacturing, and aerospace and defense.
“The new facility will be an important hub for all our North American activities”, says Stephen Phillips, Operations Manager. ”We look forward to becoming a member of the local community and with this location, we also hope to attract some of the best photonics talents in the area”, Phillips adds.
Thank you for stopping by
At the inauguration, we had the pleasure of welcoming a lot of our business contacts.
Our own CEO, Basil Garabet, gave the opening speech followed by talks from Director of Business Strategy from Boston, Midori Morikawa, and Carina Sølling Damm from the Innovation Centre Denmark in Boston.
Professor Gary Tearney from Massachusetts General Hospital gave a short presentation on the use of our lasers in the medical segment.
Overlooking the Boston Harbor
Looking out on the Boston Harbor, our facility is in the Innovation and Design Building in a historic eight-story structure dating back to 1918. Now, it is home to a diverse mix of companies and entrepreneurs, craftspeople, research and development firms, and technology start-ups.
We are hiring!
We are hiring for newly created positions, some are already posted on our Careers page. And we will be adding additional engineering, manufacturing and support positions gradually. Check it out, if you would like to work with lasers AND have a harbor view.
