Barium ions are ideal for quantum computing. It is easy to manipulate the electrons in barium ions with laser beams to use them as qubits.
We are launching our brand-new fiber laser for barium ion excitation at 1762.17 nm, the Koheras ADJUSTIK HP T20.
Come by booth 3201 at Photonics West 2023 to see this cool new laser.
The Koheras ADJUSTIK HP T20 is designed specifically with the 6S to 5D transition in barium in mind. Use it for qubit manipulation, quantum sensing, sympathetic cooling, etc.
With the T20, you get a laser that offers robust single-frequency operation, a narrow linewidth of 10 kHz, and a high power of 500 mW at 1762.17 nm. Its environmental insensitivity is superior to, e.g., diode lasers.
The Koheras ADJUSTIK is a rack-mountable benchtop single-frequency DFB fiber laser source. Based on our renowned industrial BASIK DFB fiber lasers, the ADJUSTIK HP T20 is an all-fiber, low-noise, single-mode, mode hop-free laser with free-running sub-kHz linewidth.
We know that uptime is important to you. Our Koheras fiber lasers are inherently stable. They are reliable, alignment-free, and maintenance-free. You can mount them in a rack or place them upside down, they just do their job. Others even trust our Koheras lasers enough to send them into space. And should you need support, we have a team of dedicated engineers ready to help.
More than 15,000 Koheras lasers have been installed in demanding industrial applications for decades. Now, they are ready to assist you in your quantum research.
Our Koheras lasers are also used in a wide range of quantum applications, such as inertial and gravity sensing, single photon generation, atomic trapping and cooling. Get more examples.
Built-in fiber delivery
The built-in fiber delivery solution preserves the low-noise laser properties and delivers single-mode light at all wavelengths.
