Karen has worked in plastics, analytical instrumentation, laser micromachining for life science and semiconductor markets. Karen has a BS in Plastics Engineering and an MBA from Northeastern University.

With us since 2007, Sascha has more than 20 years of experience in the laser industry where he worked with solid-state lasers, disc lasers, CPAs, OPOs, frequency conversion, fiber lasers, and supercontinuum. In addition to his technical background, Sascha holds a diploma in Business Administration from FOM Essen.

With NKT Photonics since 2016, Chris has many years’ Scientific Research Sales and Sales Management experience. Chris is customer-focused and has extensive knowledge of Spectroscopy and Bio-Imaging applications.

Martin joined NKT Photonics in 2018. He has been working in the photonics industry sales since 2004 and served OEM and key accounts in the fiber laser market. Martin received his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of Göttingen in 2001.

Carlo joined us with over 15 years of experience in optics and microscopy. He is excited to share his knowledge and expertise as he helps you find innovative solutions to support your research in medicine and life sciences. Carlo has a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of the Philippines and received postdoctoral training at the Technical University of Denmark and Harvard Medical School.

Lincoln has a decade of experience with laser applications. His background is in optics and includes cold atoms, defect centers, and material processing. Get in touch with Lincoln to exchange ideas for your quantum research. Lincoln earned his M.S. in Physics from University of Oregon.

Andrew has a strong background in ultrafast spectroscopy and optical system design. He earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science from Montana State University, where he studied solution-processed hybrid organic-inorganic perovskites and quantum-confined systems, incl. silicon nanowires and ZnTe nanostructures. He worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Washington, developing nonlinear microscopy techniques for application to biological systems.

Tony Pisano has been with us since 2013 and has 30 years of experience in the laser industry primarily in roles of business development, sales management, product line management, and applications engineering in lasers, semiconductors & optoelectronics. He holds degrees in Physics from the University of Illinois and in Business Management from St. Marys College, Moraga CA.

Corban joined us after completing his Ph.D. in Materials Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he studied the plasmonic and photonic properties of complex silicon nanowires. He has a background in nanomaterial synthesis and optical characterization and is excited to work with you to advance your research in materials science.
