The aeroPULSE FS20 is a rugged and compact high-power femtosecond laser. We have based this industrial-grade fiber laser on our renowned crystal fiber platform.
The aeroPULSE family uses state-of-the-art mode-locking technology to deliver ultra-short femtosecond pulses with outstanding long-term stability, superior pulse-to-pulse stability, and low noise. It is ideal for applications such as optogenetics, ophthalmology, OPA pumping, LIDAR, and material processing.

The aeroPULSE FS20 is designed for a diverse range of applications, including optogenetics, ophthalmology, OPA pumping, LIDAR, and material processing.
As standard, the aeroPULSE FS is available with output powers up to 20 W emitting at 1030 nm. Other wavelengths, including green, are available upon request.
Get the dual-wavelength second harmonic module
The attachable second-harmonic generation (SHG) module makes it possible to switch between 10 μJ at 515 nm and 20 μJ at 1030 nm. The wavelength is selected via software.

The aeroPULSE FS lasers were developed for demanding 24/7 OEM applications, highlighting unit-to-unit consistency and uptime, low cost of ownership, and ease of integration.
Designed for the stringent requirements of materials processing and micromachining applications where its superior reliability are mandatory product attributes. Every feature of the aeroPULSE is designed for continuous and consistent operation in demanding applications.
The system configuration consists of a 19” rack-mountable control unit and a very low-profile laser head that can be mounted either horizontally or vertically. The complete system is water-cooled supporting high output power performance. It can be remotely controlled via an RS-232 interface and incorporates extensive on-board data logging of key parameters.
Our proprietary manufacturing technology ensures product quality while our tightly controlled supply chain makes for consistency.
The aeroPULSE systems are driven by our proven pulsed platform used in the SuperK FIANIUM supercontinuum lasers. Consequently, the systems are completely maintenance-free and have an expected lifetime of more than 20,000 hours.
