End treatment of fibers is important to assure high peak power operation. Our most popular LMA fibers are avilable as the aeroGUIDE patchcords. In addition we offer the following end treatment options: Endsealing and cleaving (0 or 5 degrees angle) – the length of the endsealing will determine the amount of beam expansion. (Please inform us about operating wavelength)   Combination of endsealing and FC/PC or FC/APC connectorization.   Combination of endsealing and SMA-905 high power connectors.    Cabling using flexible steel tube cable. See LMA-25-PC-APC-5 for example – available also for the other fibers   Cabling using 3mm Kevlar protected loose tube. (Well suited for stress relief of the fiber, but not for protecting the fiber from sharp edges etc.)   For the Yb doped active fibers we also offer endcapping using silica blocks, allowing beam expansion lengths up to 8 mm. Comes together with SMA-905 high power connectors.
