Jakob D. Skov, CEO
Jakob Skov joined our company in 2001 as the CEO. He brings to us a lot of expertise in management of hi-tech companies. Prior to joining us Jakob held various executive management positions for different companies within NKT Holding. Jakob holds a Master Degree in Business Admistration from Aarhus Business University.

Christian V. Poulsen, CTO
In 2001 Christian joined NKT Photonics from IONAS, a company under NKT holding. At IONAS Christian focused his work in single frequency fiber laser and silica on silicon planar waveguides. Christian received his M.Sc. and PhD degree from the Technical University of Denmark and has been a Research Fellow at the University of Southampton. He further holds a MBA degree focusing on Technology Companies from Copenhagen Business School.

Morten Vilstrup, COO
Morten Vilstrup joined NKT Photonics as COO in 2008 from RFS Denmark - an Alcatel Lucent company - where he was in charge of production. Prior to RFS Morten worked at OFS Denmark as the Process Development Manager. Morten received his B.Sc. from Denmark Technical University and his EBA from Engineering Highschool of Copenhagen.

Lars Rahbek, CFO
Lars Rahbek joined us in 2010 – coming from a position as CFO at Bang & Olufsen Medicom within the Medical Device industry. His previous experiences are, among others, from the Biotech and Medtech industries and he has also worked some years in China as CFO for a company within industrial production and B-t-B sales. Lars holds a M.Sc. in Economics & Business Administration from Aarhus School of Business.

Michael Stanley, VP Sales & Marketing
Michael Stanley joined NKT photonics in 2011. Previously taking up top managerial positions in both the commercial and techical divisions in companies active in the Oil & Gas, Chemical and Health Care sector. Michael has extensive international experience working with partners in e.g. the US, Japan, Asia, Africa and Europe. Michael has a M.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering a Ph.D. degree in physics and an MBA from Copenhagen Business School, Denmark.

Jes Broeng, Head of Fiber Technology
Jes Broeng joined NKT photonics in 2009, as part of the merger with Crystal Fibre A/S (co-founder 1999). Jes has extensive experience in business development, and commercial sales of R&D activities to companies and government institutions in US, Europe, and Asia. Jes has a M.Sc. and Ph.D. from DTU, Denmark and serves on the advisory board of DTU Fotonik and on the committee of several international conferences.
