LIOS DE.TECT Linear Heat Detection

LIOS DE.TECT is a robust linear heat detection system based on optical fibers. With a range of up to 10 km and a sampling interval down to 25 cm, the system is ideal for fire detion in tunnels and metros as well as large facilities like warehouses and industrial facilities. Moreover, the optical system is well suited for hazardous environments such as those found in chemical plants, coal storage facilities, mining conveyor belts, or other facilities requiring ATEX certification. All components of our LIOS DE.TECT Linear heat detection system meets all requirements of fire detection and even the front plate meets EN54  – ensuring you with the safety of knowing that your project is safe with us no matter the challenges. The linear sensor is purely passive and remains unaffected by rough conditions and electromagnetic disturbances and the DE.TECT operates in temperatures from -10°C to +60°C, so no matter the application or the environment there is a solution that fits your requirements.

One single evaluation unit of the DE.TECT series provides fast and spatially well-resolved fire detection along optical fibers with ranges of up to 10 km per channel. With DE.TECT, temperatures are recorded as a continuous profile along the entire sensor cable providing the operator with a full overview compared to a conventional setup using single point-type sensors. The benefit of achieving highly accurate temperatures over great distances at short measuring times, is combined with the ease in installation and data acquisition in a system made to cover all applications where early and precise fire detection is necessary.
