Landry Molimbi oversees sales in the Americas and directs a local team of highly motivated and skilled Sales Engineers. Landry has been with the NKT group since 2011 and holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from the National Polytechnic Institute of Lorraine (INPL) National Superior School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering of Nancy (ENSEM).
Previously responsible for US sales, Husain Imam is now part of NKT Photonics’ global business development team. He holds a Ph.D in Physics from King’s College at the University of London.
Brad Sohnlein joined us in 2012 as a Sales and Applications Engineer for the West Coast US territory. He has seven years of laser sales experience, a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry, and a one-year Postdoctoral Fellowship at SRI International. Brad is dedicated to customer care through responsiveness, technical knowledge and friendliness.
Tim Gerke is the Technical Support and Technical Sales Engineer for North America and oversees Sales, Marketing and Applications Lab activities in North America. He received his Ph. D. in electrical engineering with a focus in lasers and optics in 2011 and has been with NKT Photonics since 2010.
With NKT Photonics since 2016, Chris is responsible for the US East Coast. Previously with Instruments SA (Horiba) for 7 years, Princeton Instruments and Ondax. At Ondax, Chris was responsible for the successful development of the Raman business in North America with a focus on Spectroscopy.
Central Europe and Middle East
Sascha Häuser has been with us since 2007 and has 15 years of experience in the laser industry where he has worked with solid state lasers, disc lasers, CPAs, OPOs, frequency conversion, fiber lasers and supercontinuum. In addition to his technical background, Sascha holds a diploma in Business Administration from FOM Essen.
Nicolai Granzow joined NKT Photonics in 2014, after gaining sales experience in the laser safety business. He received his PhD in physics from the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light in Erlangen, where he investigated supercontinuum generation in photonic crystal fibers.
Thorge Holm joined NKT Photonics in 2017 after gaining public procurement experience in the photonics business. During his Ph.D. studies at the Julius-Maximilians-University of Würzburg he focused on the development and application of super resolution microscopy. He received his diploma in physics from the University of Bielefeld where he worked on a vast variety of Fluorescence techniques such as spectroscopy, FCS, TCSPC, CLSM and SMLM.
Thomas Ferhat joined NKT Photonics in 2014 and is responsible for the French market. In his previous position he was in charge of the scientific division for ROFIN Baasel France. In 2012 he obtained a Master degree in Physics and Business from the University of Bordeaux after spending a year at the College of Optics and Photonics (CREOL) at the University of Central Florida.
Adrian has been with the NKT group since 2011 and has 12 years of experience working within the laser industry having previously worked for leading UK distributors. Adrian holds a degree in Physics with German from University of Nottingham also studying at Ludwig Maximilians Universität, Munich and serves our scientific customer base in both Northern Germany and Benelux as well as being our main contact for our distributors in Spain, Portugal and Italy.
Ross has over 10 years’ experience in sales and sales management in the photonics sector working in both the scientific and industrial markets. He joined NKT Phtonics in 2009, after previously working for Alstom Transport and BFi Optilas in the UK. Ross has had responsibility for sales, marketing and product management for NKT Photonic’s full range of ultrafast fiber laser products including supercontinuum fiber lasers, ultrafast lasers for material processing and femtosecond fiber lasers. Ross holds a degree in Physics with Lasers from the University of Southampton, UK.
Asger Sellerup Jensen
Asger Jensen Joined NKT Photonics in 2016. Asger holds a PhD in silicon photonics from the Technical University of Denmark where he developed silicon photonic devices for linear and nonlinear optical signal processing.
Simon joined NKT Photonics in 2014 as Technical Sales Engineer. Prior to this role he was involved with sales in the fields of Telecommunication and Material Processing lasers. Simon holds a PhD in Silicon Photonics from University of Surrey where he investigated the fabrication and tailoring of Silicon Photonics devices using a Focused Ion Beam (FIB).
Weidong Sheng (生卫东)
Weidong Sheng joined NKT Photonics in 2006 as product development engineer and research scientist. Before that Weidong had been working in industry laser companies in Denmark for 10 years. In 2011 WSH joined the sales department with responsibility for sales and technical support for the Chinese market. Weidong Sheng holds a Ph.D degree in engineering from Tianjin University, China.
Aaron Wang (王琪)
Aaron Wang Joined NKT Photonics in Feb 2014 as Product Support Engineer with responsibility for sales and technical support for Asia Pacific Market. He received his Master of Science from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität together with Max Planck Institute for the Science of Light in Erlangen with investigation of supercontinuum laser generated in PCF fibers.
Tony Pisano has been with us since 2013 and has 20 years of experience in the laser industry primarily in roles of global business development, international sales and channel management, major account development, product line management and applications engineering in lasers, semiconductors & opto-electronics – Raydiance, Redfern Integrated Optics (RIO), Spectra-Physics Lasers, VideoJet Systems International – he holds degrees in Physics from University of Illinois – Chicago and in Business Management from St. Marys College, Moraga CA
Global Fiber Sales
Cato Fagermo joined NKT in 2002 as sales manager. He has primarily been working on the commercial side of PCF specialty fibers with focus on key accounts, strategic project customers and defense customers. Cato holds a M.Sc in physics from NTNU in Norway and an executive MBA from DTU in Denmark.
